New Season

The new season is nearly here. All the draws for the National Club Competitions have been made. Holderness will be locking horns with familiar rivals in both national competitions early rounds. Holderness host Walkington BC in the National Club Two Fours, and will also be at home in the National Top Club Championship, where they will host West Park BC at their new Ash Grove Home.

Great Start To Season.

Holderness have got off to a great start in all their matches, in the first week of the season.
The Monday afternoon triples team, have made it 2 wins out of 2 in their debut season in this league. The Evening Triples teams also have started the season well, the A team with a resounding 8 v 0 win away at Walkington. Whilst the B Team started with a solid 6 v 2 win at home to Cottingham.
The Club were also successful in the first round of this season's, National Club Two Fours. Their home tie went almost down to the wire, as this format game can, but recorded a 4 shot aggregate victory. Winning one rink and drawing the other in a new look team. They now face their landlords, Kingston BC (away) in the next round. Scores:

The club will be hoping, this fine run can continue in the coming weeks. As they face West Park BC in the National Top Club, this coming Thursday (16th May). As well as their usual league commitments.
